Jon Bernthal (mejor conocido por su papel de Shane en The Walking Dead) seguirá interpretando al Castigador al igual que en Daredevil, donde se introdujo a su personaje. Steve Lightfoot, el responsable de Hannibal y Casualty, será el escritor y productor ejecutivo. Marvel’s The Punisher es la sexta serie en Netflix sobre superhéroes surgidos de la gran casa de cómics.
